Workshop Q: Helping pupils build their understanding of Number and Algebra

This workshop will share the experience of a maths department who have placed an emphasis on the development an understanding of number and algebra concepts. It will consist of an overview of how programmes of study were fundamentally restructured to meet the needs of pupils; how learning is now assessed; and how learning and teaching has changed in classrooms as a result of this approach.
